After six months in the making, the new Growth Point Capital Referral Partner Portal, which is fully integrated with our Customer Relationship Management platform, Salesforce, has been well received since its launch with accountants, financial planners and lawyers all signing up to use the portal.
Dan Keioskie, Head of Commercial and Private Finance at Growth Point Capital, says that while the portal concept is not a new one, he believes Growth Point Capital is one of the few broker firms to roll out a fully integrated platform specifically for referral partners.
“The creation of the platform came about following our accountant and financial planner partners telling us they wanted a simpler system and improved communication when it came to helping their clients seek finance.
“They told us they wanted to avoid the usual to-and-fro of emails and documents during the application process and to be kept up to date with progress without having to chase up our brokers. Our new portal allows referrers to easily select what it is their client needs financed and upload documents avoiding messy email trails. It’s also integrated with our Salesforce CRM so they receive regular updates as well as their client, at key stages of the process to ensure everyone is kept in the loop.
“The portal was a fairly substantial investment for us although it’s been well received so far. We’ll continue to make tweaks and improve the system as we go along,” he said.
Accountants and Wealth Advisors, Schuh Group, have been using Growth Point Capital’s Referral Partner Portal since its launch, taking advantage of the easy-to-use system to refer its clients for finance.
Specialist Advisor at Schuh Group, Dominique Schuh, said she has found the system extremely easy to use, populating her client’s data in as little as two minutes.
“It’s as easy as filling in an online form,” she said.
“Anything that saves time is obviously a bonus and we’re enjoying that all the information pertaining to the loan and application is all in one place. You can also sign into the portal at any time to see where things are at and to add queries for the Growth Point Capital team to follow up on.”
